  1. Overview

Fusion Link

Fusion is a simple, link-based solution for sending respondents to surveys in the PureSpectrum marketplace. It gives supply partners the ability to:
Access surveys in 110 countries (162 locale combinations in total)
Create links with a desired offer price for individual countries, or use a single universal entry link for all countries across a website or app
Manage the user experience by controlling the number of survey offers presented per session
Questions at any point during setup: globalsupply@purespectrum.com

How it works#

1. Get Started#

Get credentials#

To set up an account you need login credentials from the PureSpectrum team. With all the required information to hand, setup takes a few minutes.

Log in to the portal#

Fusion portal
Then open the Entry links and Redirects menu.
[Placeholder: screenshot of the "Entry links and Redirects" menu]

2. Generate an Entry Link#

Choose a link type#

Use the drop-down below Choose one option to generate link.
TypeDescription
UniversalCan be used in any country
Country-SpecificRequires a country to be specified
[Placeholder: screenshot of the link type drop-down]

Set CPI and Max LOI#

ParameterRequiredDescription
CPIYesThe amount paid out when a respondent completes a survey. Always in USD ($).
Maximum LOINoMaximum survey length, in minutes.
These values are appended to the entry link once generated.
Tip: The most common mistake is a CPI / LOI combination that doesn't match PureSpectrum's survey inventory. Leave out Max LOI for the initial launch, then add it after reviewing performance data.

Define your parameters#

Define the variable names Fusion should expect on the entry link:
ParameterRequiredDescription
Session IDYesUnique transaction ID for each session
Member IDRecommendedPersistent identifier for your respondent
Custom variableNoRequires a discussion with the PureSpectrum dev team
Then click Generate Entry Link.

Example entry links#

Country-specific
https://fusion.spectrumsurveys.com/start-session/987US0150?maxLoi=15&supplierRespId={supplierRespId}&memberId={supplierMemberId}
PartMeaning
987PureSpectrum-assigned supplier ID
USCountry code (see Localization Codes)
0150CPI ($1.50)
maxLoiMaximum survey length in minutes (15)
supplierRespIdParameter name you chose for Session ID
memberIdParameter name you chose for Member ID
Universal
https://fusion.spectrumsurveys.com/start-universal/987/0150?maxLoi=15&supplierRespId={supplierRespId}&memberId={supplierMemberId}
start-universal means no region is specified; the other parts are as above.
For the full explanation, see Userflow - Inbound and Outbound Parameters.

3. Next Steps#

Work through these in order:
1.
Profiling - Appending Qualifications: pass respondent qualifications on the entry link to improve conversion
2.
Userflow - Respondent Redirects: set up Complete, Terminate, Blacklist and No Surveys redirects
3.
Security - S2S Postbacks: server-to-server callbacks for completes and reconciliations
4.
Security - IP Whitelisting: verify postbacks come from PureSpectrum
5.
Fusion Testing: test with a one-time code, then soft launch to 50-500 users
